5 reasons why i switched from blogger to wordpress.com (not .org) and why you should too

  • user interface-wordpress dashboard is so much cleaner, and just more user friendly.
  • design cleanliness-my current css layout is a wordpress stock design. they have many many others. one downfall:you cannot do a custom layout without paying wordpress to be able to change it.
  • domain name-it was super easy to make my own domain name, and they map it for you. cheaper than i thought.
  • blog stats-i know who comments, where they come from, what they look at when they’re here, and where they click to from my page, and what people search for to make it to my blog. possibly the coolest part of wordpress.com
  • its free. blogger is too, but if somebody compared the two, they would probably pick blogger as the free one, wordpress as the pay-for one.

(everything i just listed is also mostly true for wordpress.org, the differences in .com and .org aren’t many, but are significant. go HERE if you want to know)
