Or Michael English or the “Healer” guy from Hillsong. What now? Is it still one of your favorite Christian songs or have you unchecked it in your iTunes library because of that queasy feeling you get when it comes up on shuffle?”

This is the first time I’ve seen this blog…it popped up in a Google alert for Michael English. Just had to respond to “imagine with me that one of your favorite Christian songs was written by Ray Boltz. Or Michael English or the “Healer” guy from Hillsong. What now? Is it still one of your favorite Christian songs or have you unchecked it in your iTunes library because of that queasy feeling you get when it comes up on shuffle?”

I need to look for that article that the quote comes from.

In the meantime, I felt the need to mention that Ray Boltz does not belong in the same sentence or category as Michael English. Michael has repented and been redeemed…Ray seems to be committed to live in his sin, claiming it as “natural”. Yes, I get queasy with Ray’s songs and am deleting them from my library, but Michael’s songs inspire me more than ever, because he repented of his life of sin (which thank God was not homosexuality) and has a new life in Christ.
